WELLINGTON, New Zealand - The Oceania Football Confederation says a Fiji player has died in a swimming accident during the Oceania under-17 championships in Samoa.The OFC said in a statement that Shalit Muni Reddy died Tuesday at Savaii. Reddy went missing while swimming during a Fiji team excursion. His body was found a short time later and efforts to revive him failed.OFC president David Chung said the death was a tragedy that would be felt throughout Oceania.Chung said everyone at the OFC is in total shock at what has happened.
